A respected player in the world of sport
Under an agreement signed in December 2009, the PMU will become a major partner to the French Football Federation and French national teams, following the FIFA World Cup in Football, in South Africa. The PMU will work with football teams in France for four years, from the highest international-level players to neighbourhood amateurs, and in so doing, become partner to France’s leading sport, which has 2.3 million card-holding participants and 30 million enthusiasts.
This major partnership comes in addition to the PMU’s presence in cycling and rugby. In 2009, the PMU celebrated its 20-year anniversary as official partner to the Green Jersey of the Tour de France cycling race, which is given in recognition to the best sprinter. This year will be a symbolic one, in that, with this race, the PMU also enjoys high visibility through the display of its logo on all of the racers’ jerseys.
An official partner to the French National Rugby League since 2005, the PMU has displayed its colours in the stadiums during the TOP 14 Championship and PRO D2 competition and does its part as partner in its network of sales outlets as well as online, at its free betting previews site, pronospmu.com.
